Important InformationIf you choose the Airport Pick-Up Option:If you have arranged for airport pick-up from CLC, you will be greeted at the airport by a school representative. You are required to send the following information two weeks before your scheduled arrival:1. A recent picture of yourself (no hats, please -- just you).2. We suggest that you fax a copy of your plane ticket to us to confirm all of the details.Student Health Insurance:Visitors to Canada are not covered by Ontario Health Insurance Plans. Students are required to purchase private health insurance (or other travel insurance), either from their home country or when they arrive in Canada. CLC offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in English outside of school. You can choose to live with a Canadian family (in a homestay) carefully selected and monitored by CLC. Homestay families must follow the rules and regulations of CLC and students must follow the rules of the family they stay with. Homestay families provide a furnished room and 3 meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). More importantly, homestays offer you the opportunity to have convesations with native speakers. You can end each of your school days by going home and relaxing, in English.At CLC, all of students complete a questionnaire about our homestay families to ensure that each family meets our standards of hospitality, comfort, and communication.ResidenceYou may alternatively choose a campus Residence private room. Residence gives you a room with a bed and a desk in a local college campus (this is not connected to CLC). The campus does not provide meals, but students have access to a shared kitchen where they can cook their own food. The campus also provides 24 hour security to help keep you safe.Alternatively, CLC offers you a choice of rooms to rent in houses close to the school. Like campus residences, these houses offer complete access to kitchen facilities. HOW TO REGISTER CLC

HOW TO REGISTER CLC1) Students who want to take English courses in Toronto at CLC must complete the registration form either online (an online link is available below) or by printing and faxing it. Registration should be received at least 3 weeks prior to the starting date.
2) Upon receiving your application, the school will then send you an email confirmation and request a payment of 25% deposit of the total amount. This can be done by credit card, wire transfer or money order.
3) Once the school has received payment, the student will be issued a letter of Acceptance and an invoice indicating the remaining balance to be paid.
4) Students needing a VISA to study abroad will take the letter of Acceptance to the Canadian Embassy in order to obtain the VISA. Once the student obtains the VISA (if necessary) the final payment is required.
5) Once the VISA (if necessary) has been obtained, the school will supply the student with their accommodation and airport pick up confirmation. (NOTE: if students have chosen airport pick-up, flight information must be sent prior to the student's arrival.)
6) Upon arrival in Toronto, (if requested) CLC will send a representative to pick you up at the airport and take you to your homestay. Please look for a sign with your name on it.
7) When you arrive at CLC on the starting date indicated on your letter of acceptance. You will complete your registration at this time and will be required to pay the balance of your fees in full. On the first day of class you will write a placement test. Based on your results, you will be placed in the appropiate level.
8) Your class schedule will also be provided, you will be able to purchase course materials/books as required.
